Meet the Farm Manager
– Damien Cadle
Damien grew up on his broiler farm just outside Rustenburg.
Somewhere between the chickens and the idea of trading a product, is where he was inoculated with a passion for farming. After school, he and his family moved down to the Western Cape where he decided that farming vineyards was his destiny. He went on to study BSc Viticulture & Oenology and graduated at Stellenbosch University and here is where his love for wine started to ferment.
For Damien, viticulture and winemaking are a holistic dance between mankind and mother nature.
“I love being outside whether it’s being in the vineyard, in the ocean or in the bush, rugby in the background with a fire surrounded by my family and friends, is where you’ll find me at my happiest.”
